The Time We Have

This morning was the funeral of Angel's mom, followed by a beautiful and well-attended Celebration of Life. How difficult to have your baby shower and your mom's funeral in the same weekend... 

I've known Angel's family since we were 12 years old; I've always called her 'Mama,' never by her name. It still feels so surreal that she is gone. 

We visited my my grandma on the way home. She is turning 90 in October. I cherish the time that Mimi gets with her great grandmother. We are so blessed.
