Before the storm

Getting ready to leave for an evening with friends and I saw this rainbow over the bay. That was today's blip easily decided!

By the time we were coming home there was terrific thunder and lightning and an absolutely amazing deluge. The roads were like rivers, the windscreen wipers had barely any effect and it was like driving through a deep ford at times. Just a bit too exciting! Thankfully, someone else was driving and it was their car. I wouldn't have fancied it one bit!
