.a nickname for a Swift because of it's shrieks of joy as it flies in flocks at up to 69mph - the fastest in level flight in the UK. It's an endangered migratee too.
A committed nature conservationist and Minster friend makes them out of scrap wood and gives them to anyone who wants one and has a suitable site - under a north facing roof gable and 5m above ground.
Had another visitor too from another lovely guy - the rugby club president and chief groundsman. I completed his DBS (child protection check) as the club is taking more ownership/ control over another rugby pitch at the school aside the rugby club - perfect!
