Calamansi flower

This tiny flower emerged from the fragrant, green foliage of our new calamansi tree.

I have been systematically stripping the fruit off to use in cooking (and drinks) hoping that the tree would react by producing more flowers and therefore fruit

The flower is very small, measuring a mere 9 millimetres from one petal tip to an opposite one.

So exciting!
