Poisonous Beauty

With the summer rains come the mushrooms. These are the poisonous Green-spored Parasol mushrooms, found throughout Florida and the Southeastern states. They're the leading cause of mushroom poisoning in the U.S. Fairly easy to identify, they are often seen in lawns, where they sometimes grow in ring formations called 'Fairy Rings'.
