A Capital Day

It was a beautiful day for a trip to Edinburgh to meet Cousin Alison for lunch and a good catch-up in Cafe Andaluz.

The National Galleries of Scotland building dominates this scene overlooking the Princes Street gardens, with the castle in the background, the esplanade flags ready for the Edinburgh Tattoo which will be starting next week along with all the Festival and Fringe events.

I believe this is my 4,500th blip. I'm off to drink to the next 4.500...
