Bumblesnaps

By Beewatcher

Not a bad day

Nice and sunny again, and much to my delight, there are more bees around.
Earlier this year the council gardeners removed some large hedges that had been suffering from box blight from the town centre park, leaving just bare soil. Unknown to me, they’d sown one of the areas with wild flowers, and the extras show how beautifully it’s bloomed.
There are cultivated flower beds too , useful for pollinators large and small, as shown on a little patch of veronica.
