Horsey Wind Pump.

An extremely enjoyable walk around this lovely National Trust site today. The wind pump was built in 1912 on 18th century foundations to drain the water from the flooded land surrounding the village back into the river.
I climbed to the top and stood on the balcony overlooking the landscape, I didn’t stay up there long, I really don’t like heights.
Then a walk around the countryside and some lunch overlooking the water.

Best viewed large.

For anyone interested I have included a link about the place.
