SB not HB

I spent a couple of hours Balsam-bashing at a local campsite this afternoon, but hooray! there weren't many Himalayan Balsams to find.  An interesting experience of being delighted by an absence of something, which marks all the work the local group of volunteers have put in over the last 5 or so years.  There was plenty of Small Balsam, another non-native species from east Asia, which my flora describes as locally frequent and increasing.  I love their Latin names, Impatiens glandulifera for the big one, Impatiens parviflora for the small-flowered one, and Impatiens noli-tangere for the yellow native one, commonly called Touch-me-not Balsam.
