Levenwick Campsite

A breezy day, but a lovely sunny day, all day and night.  Lovely and warm too.

Up at 5am, last time this week.  Early shift in the airport.  Started on the check-in desk, soon moved to meeting and boarding flights.  A busy day of passengers, all flights on time.  Popped by Laura's on my way home, mam was in again.  Kitty came running up for a cuddle on arrival.  A quiet evening at home, walkies with Sammy, then feet up for the night. 

Campsites in Shetland are now big business, not just with tourists, locals support them really well too.  After three years working in the airport, I often see campers and caravans at this campsite during the summer months.  This past week it's been busy, but unusually this time with tents.  It looked mobbed all week, but when I pulled up today, only seven left, still great numbers.  I'm sure these campers will be happy with the good turn of weather we've had lately, not much fun packing away a soggy tent.  Looking over the Levenwick campsite, at Levenwick hall.
