Funny …..

Weekend break - dropped Lili off at my sisters and set to tackle the traffic down to the south coast.  Our niece is getting married tomorrow, so our family are booked into the local premier accommodation.  

We arrived before check-in, treated ourselves to a lovely lunch at a local garden centre before meeting up with our son, daughter-in-law and Phoebe in Mudeford - love watching those collecting crabs in their bucket, a competition to get the most ….. then put them back in the sea.  We all had a walk along the beach, Phoebe chuckling at the sand on her feet.  Stopped for a lovely ice cream before going to check-in.  

Dinner tonight in the local restaurant to the accommodation.  Just finished and our daughter and so -in-law and Caleb & Austin arrived.

Watched the opening ceremony - missed the beginning but what we saw we enjoyed, particularly Celine Dion.
