A Glorious Mess

Well, we went to the beach to get some shots, with the stormy looking clouds that were approaching. But, I felt like I needed something more, so we went driving, and ended up here, at the Crow's Nest.

This is a place where junk comes to die.

You know when you have a clean out of the house, or garage, and there's stuff that you don't want, but it seems a shame to throw it away? Well, this is where you bring it. There's all sorts of stuff here; abandoned toilet bowls, rusty bikes, smelly, tattered sofas, assorted doors. They have it all!

We've even donated to this place on various occasions over the years (not with toilet bowls, though!).

This photo is the garden out the front of the store. I've softened the image to give it a slightly surreal look. It reminds me of those hidden object games I play on the computer.



There's snow forecast down to sea level today. At the moment it's windy and cold, and the sun is shining.
