The Cracked Teapot
The Cracked Teapot is a café at the village hall on Fridays. I stepped in to help yesterday as the lady that usually volunteers to do the serving was off for her son's graduation. It's a much longer day than my Saturday volunteering and I was tired when I got home. I'd had to be up and out early for a 9am GP appointment before I started there. The doctor was very nice. I may have broken or fractured my collarbone at some point which is now adding to the shoulder pain. I'll get an X-ray next week and then start physio the following week. The X-ray will apparently be useful for Amy the physio.
Mum wasn't happy that she didn't get home yesterday. They found some sort of narrowing along her spine but nothing that can be fixed so said she would be discharged. As she lives in sheltered accommodation with a care package that has to be signed off and it was too late to do it last night. Fingers crossed that gets done in the morning or I think they will have a riot on their hands from mum.....guess she's feeling better!
My nephew is causing me all sorts of headaches too. He desperately needs a support worker but who knows when that will happen!
Tomorrow is another busy full on day, volunteering in the morning, committee meeting in the afternoon and baking for a music event at the hall in the evening....if I can stay awake that long.
Happy weekend everyone.
