Piles

South of Timaru, Patiti Point the beach is shingle, not a swimming beach though to treacherous for that , surfers use the waves that form on the reef just offshore and divers use the reef for paua and other shellfish. A great place to walk to blow the cobwebs away from the mind, although today it was more likely to freeze the brain. Windchill made it likely 3degress C .....brisk.
Not sure what these pile are the remains of as it was before my time of living in this part of the world. Have photographed them many times. Still looking for THE shot though.
