It was an end of day walk at the Kumeras.

The tide was disappearing quickly leaving behind a sea of shiny wet mud which was dotted with hundreds of living sea snails.

Sunset was fast approaching with the sun sinking low in the sky.


We were up before 5am this morning to watch the opening of the Paris Summer Olympics. Such a pity the weather didn’t smile on the amazing spectacle.
