Belladrum day two

Much better day weatherwise though it was chilly by the time we headed back to the caravan just before 11.

An eclectic mix of music yesterday but just enjoyable. A local band, Torridon, who I’ve seen many times before were their usual fabulous selves. Caught some of Rosanne Reid’s country set, she’s the daughter of Charlie Reid of Proclaimers fame. Another great country duo The Shires got the audience nicely warmed up for Jake Bugg who wrote and sang the theme tune to Happy Valley. Heard a wee bit from Toyah Wilcox but didn’t stay for the full set. We do enjoy one of the smaller stages called the Burke and Hair and were pleased to catch the Black Isle Peas and Hugh Reed and the velvet underpants. Both daft as brushes but great music.

Thanks to BikerBear for hosting FlowerFriday, only paper flowers in evidence.

Managed to bump into my brother’s ex wife and my youngest niece for a quick catch up.

Lots of fabulous sights to see including a wedding as there’s a wee temple on sute which is very popular.
