Slow worm
We left Dorset after breakfast and headed north. We stopped at Newark Park , a National Trust property in Gloucestershire. We enjoyed learning about its history and walking around the house and grounds. I nearly stood in this slow worm as we walked through the woods. It’s only the second one I’ve seen in my life.
After this lovely break in our journey we headed north to Warrington. By the time we arrived we were both exhausted. Holidays are wonderful, but we can find it hard to get the right balance between activity and rest.
