Eucomis

Also known as Pineapple Lily. This one is a number of years old and appears quite content in a tub.There is a second one in the backgarden but not exactly photogenic as the foliage has been shredded by slug/snails.
Can anyone help i/d the extra. It is growing strongly in the rockery, from a distance looks like a type of moss but it is "spiky" to the touch.
A decent gardening day for pottering, warm and breezy, but with only clear skies from mid afternoon; still a fair number of annoying little jobs sorted.
