Tango and Plums
Bit of a walk today from home to a play park about half a mile away. It's next to Abbeymead Primary School and it was quite good fun for a while. Then we set off for another park, which is near morrisons and the Abbeydale community centre. It's a great play park and only another half a mile away. We walked through walking, wooded, pathways, of which there are lots around our area, so we didn't need to walk along the main road.
That is where the photo of Bella on the zip wire was taken.
We also had an excellent scooped ice cream and a drink at the community centre café, I say scooped rather than that Mr Whippy frothed up type ice cream. Bella had a tin of Pepsi Max and Hetty a can of Tango Orange, a rare treat for them to have fizzy drinks.
On the mile walk home we came off the woodland walkways and Hetty got all excited because she spotted the TANGO advertisement on the bus shelter. Just had to take a photo of her with her can and the hoarding picture.
Nearing home we came across a load of plums that had fallen on the ground. Looking up we could see lots more on the tree overhanging the pavement. It's been there for years but I'd totally forgotten about it. When we got home, about 50 yards away, we grabbed a basket each and went to collect plums as Marlane said she would make some plum jam. Yummy!
A great day, and I've already stepped over 7,900 steps on my step counter.
