Beech Tree

There’s a row of beech trees on the edge of Hamilton wood, and most of them grow in peculiar shapes. I think it’s because the ground is sloping into the tiny burn.
A quiet day with a couple of walks in my new walking boots that I’m now delighted with. So relieved to have found a comfortable pair. When I was ironing a couple of blouses I had memories of when my family was young and I never seemed to get to the bottom of the ironing basket. Now it’s rare for me to iron anything.
