Victoria Tower

Walked a route with CHA in the Huddersfield area - Almonbury to Shepley which took in Castle Hill - Farnley Tyas via Lumb Dyke and Thurstondale and Falstone

Main blip Victoria Tower- built on top of Castle Hill 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee
Extras - view of Castle Hill and the tower taken from Farnley Tyas - interior of the Tower and Emley Moor mast which was in view for the whole of the walk

Was a public transport walk - six buses caught by me - walked just over 11 miles in total - going to have a long soak in hot bath and may fall asleep before commenting
