We met up with Chris and went to the midnight show in the festival.
Pictured is the highly entertaining and talented Gareth Pearson who -unlike some others- 1) did not go widdly widdly for the sake of it 2) managed to enjoy himself instead of being a grumpy old sod and 3) was not in the least bit smug.
In the day time we scoured the pubs of Ullapool to find a telly to watch the Scotland match. The locals' bar was showing it. Some locals weren't really locals- but there's a certain type of incomer to Ullapool who you just don't ask why they've chosen to up-sticks and move to a remote wee Scottish town. We left as they began filling in their pagger cards for the evening.
