Budgerigar (melopsittacus undulatus) ?

I have been that is what this bird is, so hope that is right. Saw it in a tree just outside the fence, while I was sitting outside reading.
Went down to the markets this morning and found 3 paperback books to read.
Took our collection of cut sapphires to Dave, who cuts them for us each year after we have found them. I bring them back over here, to see if I can get any put into settings (rings, pendants) Managed to get two the same size and colour to get set into some ear-rings (studs) Taken all these years to get a matching pair.
