The Strawb

Like most of the UK, Kendal basked in glorious sunshine today.

As for our little family we had the perfect day of playing, walking, playing some more, eating good food and walking some more.

Camera-wise, I had another little play with the macro attachment again and got a fuzzy one of a bee coming in to land (forgive the noise) and another of it going about its business.

However, I plumped for the blip you see as this was the juiciest of the strawberries which have come up in the tubs in our garden. There is a real satisfaction in growing your own food (however little it may be) and I understand completely why people have allotments and grow their own veg at home!

Already looking forward to what the next day will bring!
