Shed skin

I was clearing some weeds from the yard because, even though there's a slight drought, they're still growing out of control. It's so annoying. This small snake skin was hidden in a small crop of weeds in the space between the first step to our porch and the concrete walk. I didn't notice it until I pulled out the weeds.
