On a Roll!

More butterflies again today.
This beautiful Peacock butterfly was feasting on a group of thistles at Hilton Willow Pit a lovely Derbyshire Wildlife Trust reserve near Derby. A former gravel pit now transformed into a brilliant haven for birds, butterflies, dragonflies, bats and plants such as orchids.
