Carvoeiro day 1

An early start meant we arrived in resort before our apartments were ready so we forced ourselves to dine in the on site restaurant.

The holiday booking process consisted of - where can we fly from Newquay, where has availability for 5? That was pretty much it. So we were delighted to discover we’d booked a 5* resort. Some Trip Advisor reviews suggested it is really a 4* resort but having determined we are 2* holidaymakers, we weren’t too fussed.

The concierge (I know right) found us as we ate to say our rooms were ready and we could collect the keys once we’d finished. We were spread across 2 1 bed apartments (we knew this) so once we’d dropped our stuff off, it was time for a swim.


Once we dried out, we walked down into the town to buy supplies and decided it was definitely an Uber back scenario! I think we’re going to enjoy this holiday.
