Still wall to wall sunshine. I woke early and much to my surprise, got up, cleaned the kitchen and sitting room and set Roomba going then sat down to tea a toasted buttery and my book. Later Andy appeared to clean the car so I went out, chatted and did a bit of weeding. When he finished I drove round to the village car park which is huge but was absolutely full. Luckily I found a space as some people were leaving. Got cash from the ATM and cakes from Campbell's . They said to sit outside and they'd bring them out to me so I sat on a bench in the sun and chatted to a Hungarian woman who now lived in Edinburgh. Andy came over for coffee in the afternoon and there was a lot of chat about the dearth of insects. The car looked fantastic. He really does a great job. I bought it in 2015 when it was four years old so it's 9 years old now with just over 43,000 miles on the clock. Since the pandemic I don't seem to have driven very far so it's living a quiet life.
