Hanging On

The darters are back over the pond. I haven't seen one emerge from it but am ever hopeful as I saw so many eggs being laid last year.

This is a close up of the female hanging on in cop with her tiny claws wrapped round the male who has her in a head clasp. The Extra shows both the darters.
