Carvoeiro day 6 - Caves

A very early start for a holiday. We booked a boat trip to see the famous local caves and after the heat of yesterday, went for the earliest time available.

The boat trip was lovely although the sea was so busy with similar trip boats. The final cave surroundings were swarming with more kayaks than I have ever seen in my life! Our ‘host’ confidently told us at the start of the trip that they can’t guarantee seeing dolphins as they are sauvage but she generally sees them 5/5 trips. Not ours!!

The rest of the day was spent by the pool until the BBQ at the resort. We’d decided on an easy option after the morning adventure.
