It's hot

The decision was quickly made; to Konstanz. It had to be a rest day. Yesterday I cycled dozens of kilometres along the dike as if I were doing a competition, while the temperature is not suitable for that. This morning I had to pay for it with a huge headache. Oh well, Konstanz appealed to me. A German city on the Swiss side of Lake Constance with an old history and one of the few German cities that were not bombed flat in the Second World War. It is located next to the Swiss city of Kreuzlingen.

Konstanz has a nice old city center with squares and a pleasant hustle and bustle. Not too much hustle and bustle because it is Sunday and the shops are closed. We found some geocaches and strolled through the city. The milchkaffee was exactly what we wanted and for a price that I think is more in proportion. Because of that coffee we immediately decided to stay on the German side of the Rhine as much as possible. Economic Dutch people that we are ;-)
