At the Coast Street Art Festival

By chance Richard spotted the closing day of this event - he knew I'd be keen to take photos there. It all took place in Larne, in an area under a flyover where there's been a mix of commissioned street art and informal pieces for some years.
We had a lovely amble around the area this afternoon, watching artists at work.  There was a good atmosphere, with an area for kids to make there own chalk designs (first extra), music, a bubble machine on a tricycle, food stalls etc. There's an example of a finished piece in the second extra.
All of this was supported by the 'Larne Renovation Generation', a local community organisation whose work we've come across before.
I'm due to record some murals in Larne while we're here, for the ArtUK database project. Looks like it could be a busy few days :-)
