Wood pigeons

We’ve had a quieter day today, and I confess we were glad to be freed from the need to do a twice-daily cat feeding session. 

This afternoon we had a visit from our holidaymaking son and our two granddaughters while Mummy was at home doing all the unpacking. There was much playing in the garden in the sunshine, not only by the girls, but also by these two wood pigeons, who were availing themselves of the bathing facilities.
