Don't you worry about the Distance

This morning,  himself and I got up, arranged the cats for an overnight alone.   We left them plenty of snacks and clean water and supplies for the expected cat party.

(we left the wild life cam on -  the  party never happened) .

Then  we set off on our drive to Fort William to pick up the Wanderer.

We made a quick stop in Paisley - I had a little thing to collect from a Junk Shop which I adore - and managed to buy  2 things instead of the one I was in for.

Then we were off.

We made it to Fort William about 2pm.  And Tooli thought she was about 7 Kilometres from the finish.

We sat and waited, and then  Si went down and waited at the other end of the high street incase she stopped and picked her suitcase up first (she was NEVER going to do that).

Eventually another  text arrived, "I have just passed the original end of the West Highland Way".    There followed another 15 minutes before Si text "I have her".

It was another 15 minutes before they appeared at the end of the walk, and Tooli suddenly picked up her pace and jogged to the "sair feet" statue.

You can see the "end of the West highland Way" on the sign  behind her.

Si kindly went back to the other end of the high Street and brought the car down and we headed to our hotel.   After a long  soak in the bath for her, and a quick nap for us, we headed out to dinner and then back to the hotel for a glass of Champagne to celebrate her achievement of walking more than 96 Miles (the official distance) (some accommodation was quite far off the track), all by herself.

Have  a look at the extras..... Everything in the landscape - and beyond it and another 20 miles behind the camera she walked.

What a job!
