Cousins

The birthday lunch went well. With four people over 80 (one over 90), five between 23 and 26 and four more somewhere in their mid 50's, the conversations were sometimes a little disjointed but on the whole fun. The restaurant accommodated us all very well too.

The five in the picture are the four cousins plus my nephew's fiance, who we've all known since she was 18. Even though they don't see each other very often* (Christmas, the odd milestone birthday) they get on really well and all ways manage to pick up where they last left off. 

Annoyingly the traffic both ways was horrible.

*The cousins. My nephew and his fiance see each other every day.
