Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh

Met J and we headed down to the Botanics, wandered around and around as it went from warm but overcast to bright sunshine.  There were young kestrels making a lot of noise, presumably newly fledged. I didn't have a long lens and doubt I'd have captured a shot of them anyway, as they were moving fast when they weren't at the top of the trees. We paused for lunch then wandered up through Canonmills to town and picked up some things for a gift.
