Llandudno
We traveled a long way today with some short stops in interesting villages, ending the day in Llandudno. Hay on Wye and Shropshire hills discovery centre in Craven Arms were both fascinating but the highlight of the day was the Pontsysyllte aqueduct designed by Thomas Telford. We viewed it from ground level then walked across. A fabulous place with amazing views.
We had a late afternoon tea before arriving at our hotel so had no need for dinner. We walked to the pier for a late shared snack of fish and chips. We successfully fought off the giant seagulls.
Back to the hotel to do a bit of laundry before bed time.
We have a free day tomorrow so need to decide what we should do. Maybe a trip to Conwy or the tour guide said a day trip to Chester is possible.
