Buddism
I woke up early today thinking I will do some work on Nanodegree or my life. I didn’t do it. Instead was on my phone or ipad. The distractions is something I need to get ahead of in my life. Contacted my father today to tell him that he should force feed my mother sugary things - no response. Then called my sister, who was crying. I could naturally sense she must have been upset over my father’s abuse. Puspa my mother’s carer picked up the phone when I called to speak to my Mum and she said that she was unwell so didn’t go to meet today.
I then prayed and then Mark from boardgames called. Although, I had said no, because of the buddism meeting later. Mark called and said I have to come because Rosemary who I had not seen for 8 months is also there. I could not believe. I ran over to Haymarket to meet them. It was lovely. Always met Mark, Tom, Callum, Davis, Hidhir and Sean. Then, after 10 mins I left for the buddism meeting.
Tanvi hosted the meeting in her shared accomodation and it was lovely. A Malaysian family also came, along with two Americans. The Malaysian family comprised of the parents and 3 boys and American family had the mother and the son. I was the most immature in this subject so everybody very kindly encouraged me and shared there experience. They were all very welcoming. The Malaysian guys studied at a Punjabi school in Malaysia so we instantly related. I related with Lily, the Malay Mum’s story the most as she also had a dad who did domestic violence. We returned on the bus together.
Quite an eventful day.
