Or is it? This colourful fungus looked as if it was trying hard to push its way through the grass beside the woodland path.
It turned out to be a warm day as the clouds cleared during the morning. Quite a few of us gathered at Kilmore Church in the early afternoon for the last service to be taken by our lovely minister. She is leaving her post of minister on the 31st to invest her time on her croft alongside her husband. We are still looking for a new minister and it’s a big ask. From the first of August, North Mull Parish (with four churches) will be linked with Iona and the Ross of Mull (another two churches) with a fifty mile drive on single track roads between Tobermory in the north-east to the Iona ferry in the south-west
