Slow sewing

A quick photo of my slow sewing project: I'm trying to do it in short chunks, a step at a time, when I can fit in twenty minutes or so, but am not advancing very fast - too many days slip past without any progress. I'm further slowed by the need to keep pressing seams after sewing them - I'm not used to getting the ironing board out this frequently. I'm enjoying it though - it's so much more fun to make something new instead of just mending.
