Signs of Spring…

It was not a good day for landscape photography with low cloud and light rain early this morning. Very cold weather with snow to low levels in some parts of the South Island during the next three days. I photographed this brave early blossom growing over a tall fence in a neighborhood street.
I was busy around home this morning and dealt with a number of phone calls from friends and family. This evening I visited close friends for an evening meal. We had a lovely time tinged with sadness as two of the other guests have a very ill family member. It is times like this we need friends.
