Not a good weekend.
At very short notice a much advertised “food and fun weekend “  was cancelled. Whether it was a council fault or the organisers, is being disputed.
I decided to take my scooter on trip to the site, hoping to get a picture or two. I didn’t get there. About half a mile short of my destination , a red light told me that the battery was running down. It was supposed to be fully charged whenI left home, and was supposed to have a range of twenty miles. 
I stopped and turned for home, I was about half a mile from home when it decided to quit.
Fortunately I have break down insurance. My scooter rode home on the back of a huge transporter capable of dealing with two full sized cars at once.
