Here's looking at you kids....

Yesterday, EZ Highway was talking about the way the dragonfly used it's front legs to eat it's food. Well, take a look at the spiny barbs on this guy. This is the son's little spiny flower mantis who is now all grown up. He shed yesterday and now has a full set of beautifully coloured / patterned wings. As you can see, he also has the ultimate in killer legs!

Anyway, good news on several fronts today; visit to hospital land had a good outcome and the daughter has learned how to make ace rock cakes. Shortbread in the oven as we speak.
