Super Star

My friend Liz who is a very keen grower of dahlias,  gave me several dahlia plants earlier this year. We planted them in a raised bed Mark had built for me and waited and waited.  The weather was so cold and wet that I thought that the dahlias would never grow.  However, they seem to have enjoyed the warmer weather in the last few weeks and this morning I was very pleased to see this lovely flower
