Lost?

So…nine days ago as we were driving down to France I noticed that I had lost my earring. The back was still in my ear, but the front…gone. It could have been anywhere…lost in the 4am shower, caught by the towel and launched across the bathroom, caught up in my clothes…anywhere. I was a bit sad as I liked that earring. Anyway…got to France, bought a new earring on the Monday, all was good. Upon starting to pack up a bit today I happened to look down under the bed, here in France, and what should I see??
What are the chances of that?!
