Coleslaw

Talking of Sonia's garden, which I was doing on Friday, we went swimming again today and she gave us a lovely Savoy cabbage. At home I sliced half of it up, grated carrot, and maid a Coleslaw. The girls call it Col-es-law, which is spelled the same, but pronounced completely differently!
We can't add onion, I've never met a child yet that will eat onion so in cooking e.g. Spag Bol sauce, we chop the onion into tiny pieces in our hand held blender attachment.
It is still lovely though and the freshest Coleslaw you can get with the cabbage being picked and washed the same day.
And the space on the plates? Veggy sausage and some left over Chinese Mee Hoon (Vermicelli) noodles.
