Poor Bee

I had a good night and for the first time in ages I slept for over seven and a half hours.

I waited for the 9:30 am Ocado delivery before going out into the garden. This large bee seems to have only one wing and has been on the lavender plants for the last couple of days. 

A full house on the bin collections: garden waste green bins, the recycling trolley, cardboard bag, food waste and the monthly general household waste all collected before 10:00 am. A council lorry also came round collecting the now redundant blue bin which has been stood outside at the bottom of the drive for the past four weeks. 

I spent a couple of hours this evening sorting out the photo entries for the village photography and art competition which is being held at the weekend.
