Country Scene

I walk past this field of barley quite often, but now the barley has grown to full height and is waiting to ripen in the sun, it looks a typical country scene. But this field along with the barley crop, has big old trees sitting in the middle of the field. It is not generally seen these days as farmers like to make fields bigger and bigger for producing more crops, but this particular farm is as it was back in the 1930s with the odd tree spaced about. Good for the years when it has livestock and they can shelter from rain and sun. but today it just looks right!
