Rainie

Three Wise Monkeys

....They are identified with a proverbial saying, 'See no eveil, hear no evil, speak no evil', first recorded in 1926 and now generally used sarcastically.  So says Oxford Reference, but I am sure they date back centuries.
I've photographed them in a large puddle (thanks to the rain) and they seem to be floating along happily (or perhaps oblivious).
We had a really rough night - lots of wind and excessive rain too, which has continued all day and still is tonight.  Lots of snow inland, down to 300 metres.  There have been road closures as well.

Isbi suggests “something to illustrate a saying or proverb”  as the optonal challenge for Tiny Tuesday.  These wee guys stand about an inch (or 1.5cm) tall, so they are tiny and were given to me from my Irish friend (the wedding we went to in Ireland back in 2016).
