Colour-Coded Books
After lunch in Rosebery I had time to kill before a hair appointment. So I called in to Green Square Library to check out the different sections.
Glancing up at the tower I saw these colour-coded fake books, then found the only way in was via the pyramid (children’s books and reading/play areas underground). I caught the lift to the tower’s top floor. No entry, staff only. One floor down a man was playing the piano in the music room. Next down was a computer room, then a quiet space, then a reading room with these “books”. On the ground floor I could exit onto the plaza. The floor one down would’ve taken me back to the children’s library.
The library doesn’t have many books, but a lot of study areas. It’s part of the City of Sydney library network though, so people can presumably order them in.
